While anticipating the start of the NASCAR Busch East Series TSI Harley Davidson 150 on Friday night in Stafford, CT, teams hoped the preceding wreck-filled SK Modified race was not a sign of things to come. It was well worth the wait for the two Fitz Motorsports teams, whose driver's Ruben Pardo and John Freeman brought home top-15 and 10th place finishes respectively.

During both practices on Friday, the #22 Family Dollar Dodge driven by Pardo was knocking out top-10 speeds. The #2 Family Dollar Dodge driven by John Freeman was just getting warmed up, but still posted speeds in the top-20.

At qualifying time, Freeman's car proved to be just a notch faster than Pardo's, and the teammates would start the race side by side in the 15th and 16th positions.
Both cars worked their way up to the top ten during the race, and despite the chronic tightness of the #22, neither car felt it necessary to make any pit stops.

Freeman stated during the race, "It took me a few laps to figure it out, but I got it now. I didn't want to use all my tricks too early." Those tricks brought his car in for a tenth-place finish.
